Galatians 5:
22-23 But the
fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness,
faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
As we live
and mature as Christians, the apostle Paul reminds us that the fruit of the
Spirit must be shown in our lives.
Would your family and friends say you have the fruit of the Spirit? Why or why not?
Prayer: This day,
O God, we come before You with
our ears open to Your calling and our hearts open to Your voice. Help us to mature as Christians through the
reading of Your most Holy Word and through our prayers that together You may
instill within our hearts Your
love, joy, peace, patience, kindness,
goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Amen.
