Romans 12:
17-19 Do not repay
anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do
what is right in the eyes of everybody.
If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave
room for God’s wrath, for it is written “’It is mine to avenge, I will repay’,
says the Lord.”
Is it easy
to live at peace with everyone? Why or
why not? How does God play a role when
you start to get angry and want to repay evil for evil?
Prayer: Great God of peace, help us to curb our tempers when we get
angry. Through the reading of these
Holy Words, open our eyes to Your
teachings of love and peace. May we
live this day in peace and compassion.
This we ask in Jesus’ name. Amen.
