Holy God, we thank You that You love us beyond all measure. You are our Creator and Redeemer. Amen.
Read St. Matthew 26: 31 – 35
Jesus predicts Peter’s denial as well as all the other Disciples denial. The disciples never thought they would deny Jesus…. but they did.
While we sit on this side of reading the Gospel, we frequently go, “tsk tsk” at the Disciples denying Jesus. Yet, we can’t point any fingers at the Disciples without first looking at our own lives.
Have we ever denied Jesus? Have we ever closed our hearts to doing the work of Jesus? Have we ever walked away when someone asks, “why do you believe in Jesus”?
Thank goodness Jesus forgives us of the things we have left undone or unsaid!
Prayer: O Lord our God, bless us in all that we do and say this day. Holy God, Holy Mighty One have mercy upon us. Holy God, Holy Mighty One have mercy upon us. And grant us Your peace. Amen.

Prayer: We praise You O LORD. You provide us with blessings. Even when we fall asleep or forget to do Your work, You love us unconditionally. We thank You! Amen.
