Tuesday

Prayer:  Holy Son of God,   we know that we freely live in Your love.   Today,  we release to You all our anger and resentment and worries.  You are Love and we embrace Your love in our hearts and lives.  This we ask in Jesus’ name.  Amen.

Read St. Luke 21: 25 – 28

When all of creation is in turmoil,  there in the midst of chaos will be Christ.  What are we to do when all of creation is in turmoil?  We are to stop and look up.

This is  a great image.   When we get involved in our lives and drama and ill health and the state of the world,  we forget to stop and remember God.    We forget to stop and pray.   We forget to stop and remember the Words of God.     This is a great visual image for us to remember.    The Son of Man will come again in glory.  We are to stop and look up.   We are to let go of our own concerns and worries and be led into the glory of God.  

As you say this prayer today,  go slowly.  Pause between each phrase.   Let the love of God surround you.  Let the love of God surround you and inspire you to do great things in God’s name.   

 

Prayer:    Bless O Lord my soul. 

And we Bless Your  Holy Name.  

You leads me into life. 

We now let go of our own concerns and give them to You, O Lord.

We not let go of our own worries and give them to You, O Lord.

We are led into the glory of You.

You surround us with Your love and Your comfort.

Bless O Lord my soul.

And Bless Your Holy Name.   Amen.
