Saturday

Amazing how Saturday comes around so quickly each week.   Since Thursday the Lt Gov's  Winter Festival has been celebrated in Brandon.   This is a time for each ethnic community in Brandon to share their culture and food.  A great festival!    Today will be the last day of this three day event.

I am slowly working on my cousins quilt.   This has been a four year project.  I'm at the stage where I need to lay out the quilt to sandwich it but our house is too small (or at least doesn't have the table space!!!).  So I might have to get down on my hands and knees and lay this quilt out in the living room.    Good place for Presbyterians to be -- down on one's hands and knees.

Saturday Prayer:
Great God,  be with those who meet for the Presbytery of Superior this day.   Be with them as they make decisions in Your name.   Be with them as they rejoice in You.   Help the Presbytery to recognize and celebrate all the wonderful things they have achieved in Your name.   Help them to know that they are truly blessed.  Help us prepare our hearts for worship tomorrow.   May we listen to Your voice and know that we too are truly blessed.    This we ask in Jesus’ name.  Amen.

Last Saturday's  quilt top!    The centre quilt block is an
adaptation of a Schnibbles block "Domino".    See
                                      www.missrosiesquiltco.com/Schnibbles.html    Spring
2010 for the Domino block.   Both lower row and upper
row are Evening Star quilt blocks.

Many blessings
